Overview

Built for the job

Fabricated from wear-resistant high-strength steel, our tipper bodies take the punishment of daily quarry and construction use. Front-mounted telescopic hydraulic cylinders give fast, controlled discharge even with heavy, sticky loads.

Tipper bodies take some of the hardest punishment in road transport, with rock, aggregate and demolition waste dropped into them many times a day. We build them from wear-resistant high-strength steel plate, with floor and side thicknesses chosen for how heavy and abrasive your material is.

A front-mounted telescopic hydraulic cylinder lifts the body to as much as 45° for fast, complete discharge — even with heavy or sticky loads such as wet sand and clay. Body geometry is shaped to help material slide out cleanly.

Stability is designed in: the subframe and hinge points are reinforced to resist twisting when tipping on uneven ground, and overload and stability protection is available for safer operation on site.

Configurations

Available configurations

06.1

Box-type tipper

Square body for maximum volume with light, free-flowing material such as sand.

06.2

Rounded tipper

Curved body that resists impact and discharges sticky material cleanly.

06.3

Rock body

Thicker wear plate and a reinforced tailgate for heavy quarry rock.

Questions

Frequently asked

01 Box body or rounded body?
Box bodies give more volume for light, free-flowing material. Rounded bodies are stronger under impact and discharge sticky material more cleanly, so they suit rock and wet loads.
02 How thick should the body plate be?
It depends on how heavy and abrasive your material is. Sand and soil need less wear plate than quarry rock — we recommend a thickness based on your material and number of daily cycles.
03 Is tipping on uneven ground safe?
We reinforce the subframe and hinge points and offer stability protection, but tipping should always be done on firm, level ground wherever possible.
